Western Water Use Model

Wester Water Use Management Model is a extensive regional scale modeling effort that is a cooperation between NPNRD and SPNRD to determine their compliance with regulation and to provide technical support for local decision making. This modeling suite is a combination of MODFLOW, Crop Consumptive Use Modeling, large databases, GIS, and custom coding to achieve the desired result sets. ARI is the primary contractor who constructs, operates and updates the modeling data on an regular interval and also helps guide the NRDs decision making process regarding modeling activities. The ARI team has specialists in each of these areas to provide support in all areas of this modeling.
